I have just been disassembling some old macs...2 gig hard drives...256 megs of RAM that sort of thing running Disc doubler and RAM doubler...and with regular maintenance and their compact and fast operating systems it was effortless to produce magazines and books, create fantastic artwork, music, most if not all of the things that anyone would ever usually need a modern computer to do. So why do we need to keep on doubling computer power? Most people do very little with their machines...send emails...what is going on?
