Anyone else have any horrible online booking experience to share? Last year, I booked through a reputable booking website for a week s accommodation in Melbourne for our Christmas holiday in December. Did all my research about the place. Everything looked good. Our family of 5 took the Uber from the airport to the serviced apartment, only to find out that business had shut down 5 days beforehand. Yes, I almost fainted! Thankfully, the landlord (who the business owed money to) was there and able to help us re-book another apartment. I had to pay more, but at least my holiday was not ruined. As I was leaving the building, another family rocked up, yup, another victim. |
