Ridiculous things in survey land
Elizabeth T 39609625-Mar-25 11:02 am
This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen so far while attempting to do a survey.
After filling out all the prequalifcation (and being "slow" as I know panel station will reject your survey on prescreen even when you are slow so going SUPER SLOW while filling in a/s/e/l questions gives you a 50/50 chance of PERHAPS getting the survey), I encountered the following error when filling in the craptcha:
RECaptcha error. Over Enterprise free quota. Please ensure your project has an active billing account: https://cloud.google.com/recaptc ha-enterprise/billing-information
What a bunch of cheapskates to only be using free craptchas when they send out so many surveys and most of them fail you before you can get to them.
They are also cheapskates for what they pay you for a survey most of the time so what is their problem?
ROFL.
Do you have any ridiculous things to add from your experience?

I just did that shitty survey on rewardia about drinking out and it took over 30 minutes and it screened me out at the end. Do not remember what it was paying in the first place (green survey) and I only got 51 points. The other annoying thing is the invitation said it was a short survey. Really annoying.

Yes, you have completed the survey in full - you know this because there were no more questions and it told you were finished- but guess what? You were screened out and instead of 1200 points here are 40 points! Beware of the Rest Home survey if you live in NZ! They take your information and screen you out !

and I bet they use your answers anyway. I just wasted 20 minutes on a survey (a really boring one at that) and I was near the end and it decided to screen me out (for no reason...sometimes it does this because it is full and just boots you before the last round of pointless questions) and I only got 3 cents which is ludicrous for the amount of time I spent answering the stupid questions,

Felicity - Yeah That on my NZ list was a Silver survey - AS-T468QS at 1737hrs/3r Apr for 769 points. (yes that was about Rest Homes etc but interesting yours was for 1200 points !!! ) - Ummmmmm. Yes I completed and received back "Opps there was an error"...... blah, blah, blah and I was given ZERO points. I currently have sent a message to Rewardia for the FULL points. No doubt Mr AI Rewardia will come back with 40 points and a ... " It's not our fault blah, blah, blah."

So I now get a reply from Mr AI and was not given 40 points but only given 30 points !!!! so back to Rewardia AGAIN advising them they are STILL short re the full points allocation. Ummmm. We will see. This could all go on for some months !!!

You should tell them you completed the survey and to give you your points for them to look into the survey companies because once I tell them they need to look into the survey companies they give me full points

Some places reply, some don't and I find that if you complain too much some places stop responding to you/giving you credits etc and some people have been banned (not from here) for complaining too much.

You may or maynot believe this Elizabeth but my account just in the last few minutes has now been credited with the FULL points. whether that is a result of my communication with them, who knows. Have to say I nearly fell off my chair when I saw that full point allocation. Onward and upward.

surveys tend to slow down after Friday and are awful by Monday (Australian time) and horrible over public holidays/Christmas/Easter. There is generally a surge of lots of surveys prior to major holidays as the companies that organise them won't be "working" to send anything more or anything new.

Surveys are so rude!!! As people we are told to respect that NO means NO but surveys don't have such manners. I am so tired of being asked by a survey that I have not qualified for "would you like to continue" and you say NO but it continues to more qualifications anyway. I have been stung when I have said YES in the past and the survey has NOT credited because the link has expired or it took too long to give you a survey so it thought you were going too slow therefore it screens you out and either does not pay or comes up with an error.

I just finished a coral survey a little while ago and it gave me 242 points and the survey was for 833 points so I sent in a claim with proof to rewardia I have noticed at least for me that they are usually good at giving pretty good compensation points and my full points when I send proof of the completed surveys

I have noticed that as well on a few surveys where the amount you are credited does not equal the amount quoted.

at first I thought I either didn't see right or clicked on another one or didn't remember right but I knew it couldn't be right when it happened multiple times. Good for you for putting in a claim for it. Good luck. Unfortunately, I never take screenshots of the page that lists the survey and I never take screenshots of the survey to prove that I have been in it as some surveys think that you are stealing their information and will screen you out/not credit you/bar you from future surveys as they think you are some sort of corporate spy ROFL.

I hate when it goes through multiple routers and asks you the same questions ad nauseum and IF it gives you a survey, you may not get credited as the link has expired, changed, does not exist or it thinks you took too long to answer the survey when in reality, it took too long to give you the survey in the first place.

I tried to do a survey yesterday & it asked for year of my birth. I clicked on 1967 & it went to page that said that was all the questions they had for me today. My data would be reviewed & I may be be disqualified if my answer was found to be untruthful, if I answered in an untimely manner, & if I didn't respond in a complete sentence!!! Really, you must be joking.

My favourite was the survey that had me fill out an hour worth of content, then when I clicked "next" from the 99% completed page, it said I didn't qualify for the survey. Like bro you just took all my answers then "disqualified" me for no reason

Avoid those "watch an hour of content" as 9/10 it will be full or you will be disqualified etc right at the end after watching the content and filling out many questions and answers. No matter what they are paying, I never do them any more as I have been stung too many times by them.

Then there are the ones that want us to upload videos of ourselves AND answer questions. I hate the ones that don't tell you they want to watch you UNTIL you enter the survey and you can't get out of it (really annoying as I do not have a working webcam on my pc so it fails at that point of the survey). I really don't understand why they need to watch us watch ads or watch us fill out a survey. There should ALWAYS be an opt out button within the survey for when you don't have working equipment or you have changed your mind. I also hate the ones that want your NMI, flybuys/Woolies Everyday Rewards etc membership numbers.

Not really "ridiculous", but one of the biggest pains in the backside is when you go all the way through the third-party survey, only to be told by the survey points host that you were "screened out" ... no, I wasn't screened out, I completed the whole survey, it said I completed the survey, but the third-party people obviously put the wrong return link into their 'completed' forwarding addresses.😠
